Jazz Festival: Clean Advertising

To help promote the Cheltenham Jazz festival and their partner sponsor Budweiser Budvar, the organisers asked the team to hit the streets of Cheltenham and place around 30 clean adverts all along the main high streets of the town. The campaign was conducted with the full approval of both the city council and local police force.

The Budvar Cheltenham Jazz Festival logos that CURB cleaned onto the streets of Cheltenham between our two main venues worked really well for us. We combined these with a footpath of painted red footprints and big blue busking spots like you see on the London Underground. The result was a very distinctive piece of marketing and myself and the festival team were constantly seeing people talking about the effect. We had over 200 large banners around the town centre but as banners frequently appear advertising all sorts of events I believe that this project was more effective (and certainly a lot cheaper) than banners as it was so fresh, distinctive and unusual. The team that came down to do the work were really friendly and efficient and we were very pleased with all aspects of the service CURB provided for us.
