Lynx: Augmented Reality
Curb Steps into the world of Augmented Reality (AR) with a pioneering campaign from Lynx and Ocean. The innovative advert, part of Lynx Excite's Even Angels will Fall campaign, features on the full motion New Street site, outside the Bull Ring shopping centre.
With the only viable outdoor floor media application being chalk, Curb produced a 2m sq hand painted, colour placement which when walked over triggered an AR Angel to appear on the giant screen in front. Ocean are using augmented reality technology and floor touch points to draw people right into the advert and onto the billboard where they experience what might happen if they are wearing the Lynx grooming product range.
The Lynx falling angels project incorporated numerous elements, Curb Media played their part. The project went without a hitch and the team demonstrated a real creative understanding of OOH medium. Ocean will undoubtedly be working with them in the future.
